Baldock
Principal
James Bickley Elementary
Clovis, NM
Education:
BA from ENMU 1975
MME from ENMU 1981
Admin Licensure from ENMU 2004 |
I began my teaching career in Morton, Texas as a Junior High Band
Director in 1975. I moved to Mountain View Middle School,
Roswell, NM, as the Band Director in 1976. In the fall of
1977, I
became the Band director at Marshall Jr. High, Clovis. After
six
years at Marshall, I left teaching and entered the retail sales at
Phillips Music in Clovis. I became the manager of Phillips
Music
in 1984 with three locations. In 1986, I opened my own retail
music store, Baldock’s Music Note, in Clovis. My
store was
in operation for six years. The fall of 1992, I was hired as
the
elementary music director at Bella Vista Elementary in
Clovis. I
continued at that position until the fall of 2004 when I took on the
administrative position of the After School Program Director for the
Clovis Schools. I am presently enjoying my first year as the
principal of James Bickley Elementary.
I became involved with PBS as an administrative intern with Cameo
Elementary, a B cohort, in the fall of 2003. The PBS training
makes so much sense that I am incorporating the ideas at James Bickley
until we can become one of the new cohorts.
